Description

The title is referring to my editing behaviour rather than the picture. I keep doing strange things with my photos (and they mostly look really sad and pathetic), but every now and then a photo looks so random that I like it anyway. This is one of these shots. Not a masterpiece in any way, nor a particularly interesting subject, I just happened to like it.

Comments and critiques, especially the latter, very appreciated :)

Taken with my Lumix FZ-20, of course.

Good work little bro, maybe a little more contrast would have been nice. Being me I know what the subject is, lets see if other people can spot what it is

Just saw that you changed the version, this is much better, well done

Even though it's so random, and there's nothing really interesting in the shot, still makes it a very nice photo! It has a bit of a sad mood to it, with all the filth on the.. ehm.. thing :p

No no no...theres no sad mood here :)
Also I like the background, those bricks create kinda cool effect :)

Pretty interesting. Nice focus and dof on the latter or what ever it is ;) The bg is waaay too dull though. Actually i miss some kind of action on this shot.

Fun idea though, with a bit o' training i think you could get a really good "strange" shot. :)

I wrote "latter" as in referring to the "latest subject, or object, or whatever it's called, of the sentence" :)

Keep guessing, I'll tell you what it is soon :)

I like it ,
but I would lighten it & sharpen it a tad.

Hmm, I darkened it quite a bit for this one, because I didn't want it very bright, haha :)
Already did sharpen, but maybe not enough... Thanks :)

Well, the lines in this photo are great. They really add to this photo. Great character in the, em... whatever that is Colors are very nice. However I dont care for that hotspot on the right. Appears to be where the light was flooding in. Doesnt work for me. Other than that, good job.

This does have very interesting geometric features. Even the flash of light is a perfect triangle. Triangles, rectangles, vertical lines, horizontal lines, diagonal lines. Good contrast. Good photo Mans!!!! You had a good eye to see this.

It's an infra-red heater against a brick wall, rotated aproximately 90 degrees to make it more interesting

I like it but it is not nature... maybe architecture or abstract. I think I like as an abstract !!!

Haha, you're right! I didn't know I had put it under "nature", could've sworn it was under "abstract".
